GIAG Fell Run
Our Fell Running Give it a Go session is
this Sunday the 30th September. This is a good introduction to fell
running if you've never done it before as we will be splitting up into
different ability groups so you can take it as easy or as hard as you
would like to! We'll be running round an area in the Peak District
called Burbage, and then we'll be going for a sunday roast at the pub
near by straight after the run.

If you would like to come along, please buy a ticket from the union
box office. Tickets are priced at £6. We'll be meeting on the Sunday
morning at 10.45am outside the Octagon, and the coach will be leaving
round about 11am.

Bring suitable shoes and clothes for running in and water and some
money for the pub afterwards as well.

Hope to see you there

BUOT Oxford
On the 20th October there is an orienteering city race down in Oxford
which the club will be going to and then staying overnight in the
city. For any new people to the sport who want to give it a go, this
is a great opportunity, however I'm going to have to select who can go
on a first come first served basis if it is popular as we have limited
car spaces. If you would like to go, please either reply to this email
or post on our forum
http://www.shuoc.union.shef.ac.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2149 , but
you will need to register first before you can post on it.
