What is English Unis?

In 2024 English Unis will be hosted here in Sheffield!!!

The English Universities Orienteering Cup (or EUOC for short) is an annual competition to find out the best university in England at orienteering, because the British champs winning column has been far too Scottish recently. 

The format changes year on year, with the 2023 edition hosted by Cambridge being held as a chasing sprint, in which the fastest runners from a morning qualifying session get a head start on the rest of the field, and the first runner across the line wins! 

There will also be a chance to be social with like-minded orienteers from the other universities, as we all stay together in shared accommodation before taking on a non-championship orienteering event the next day.

The more runners a team has at these events, the better the chance of placing well. So no matter your level of orienteering experience come and represent ShUOC at what is always a fantastic event!
