WHAT IS FELL RUNNING?

Fell Running is a sport which involves racing over hills and mountains. Distances range between short races of a couple of miles to long distance challenges like the Bob Graham Round. Longer challenges or races can often involved navigation which separates fell running from mountain running.

It is an easy sport to get into with a laid back atmosphere, friendly folk and races to suit any ability. All you need is a pair of shoes.

Sheffield is a great place to take up fell running due to our proximity to the fells of the Peak District and the great network of footpaths right out of the city.

Have a chat with our Captain Evan Bowers or our Fell Coordinator Alex Mason to find out more information.
