The 18th World University Orienteering Championships kicked off yesterday in sunny Alicante with the long distance race. ShUOC athletes Dave Schorah and Anwen Darlington both had solid performances and finished as the first British athletes in 18th and 20th respectively. The championships continue today with a sprint race around alicante. Dave Schorah and Anwen Darlington will be joined by Kristian Jones as the ShUOC representatives in this race. Women 6.7 km 420m
