Sheffield half marathon, charity world record attempt

Last year we managed to raise a large amount of money for charity by climbing the height of Everest in a day up one of the roads in Sheffield. This year we would like to raise some more money for charity.

This year we are going to try to set a Guiness World Record. We are going for the fastest two person pantomime half marathon. The current record is detailed here.

Ralph and John will be our camel. We would like to encourage as many people as possible to enter the race whether that be as a pair (to run as a camel or cow or horse) or on your own (dressed as some kind of animal preferably). Kind of like a ShUOC farm yard if you will. For those not interested in running your support on the day would be greatly appreciated. 

The two charities we will be raising money for are Unicef and Lymphoma and Leukaemia research. Eventually there will be a justgiving page set up but this is just to inform everyone of the plans and get people involved.
