ShUOC has had a busy week again!!!!
On Wednesday, a group headed out to the SYO Dusk Event at Moss Valley & Owler Carr for an evening of falling into streams and missing paths in the dark. Blue: 1st Joe Thomas, 2nd Chloe Potter, 4th Adam Conway, 5th Adrien Gallet, 9th Dominic Green, 16th Henry Webb, MP Rebecca Ward & Edward Corden. Green: 3rd Ben Stevens, 9th Jack Baker, MP Cynog Williams. Saturday saw more SYO racing, with many running at the Bolehills event! Blue: 1st Adam Conway, 2nd Chloe Potter, 3rd Adrien Gallet, 6th Maya Hampshire Wright, 7th Joe Goodwin, 8th Jason Hayman, 14th Rebecca Ward, 16th Liam Cuerett (Overett), 22nd Eleanor Ellis, 24th Jonty Cope. Green: 4th Abbie Walker Light Green: 6th Max Watson, 21st Harry Jones et al. And then on Sunday (because no we hadn't had enough of getting lost yet), more ShUOCers traveled to Longshaw for a DVO event! Brown: 1st Adam Conway, 3rd Adrien Gallet, 4th Dominic Green, 6th Chloe Potter. Blue: 2nd Ben Stevens, 13th Rebecca Ward, 29th Eleanor Ellis. Orange: 13th Adeliya Yerbolatova Of course, we can't forget the most important orienteering event of the week! Our annual Alc-O race round the pubs of Crookes & Broomhill took place on Friday! Last year's winner Jason Hayman had his crown stripped, but still placed a respectable 3rd, with the win going to Dominic Green and 2nd place going to Eleanor Ellis!! Fell runners have also been active this week!! On Saturday the Curbar Commotion was hosted in the Peaks! 4th Tim Barry, 6th Harry Kneen, 36th Roberto Graham-Exposito.
