Another week, another load of races and runs!
This week has seen more of our GIAG events take place, with The Edge orienteering training on Wednesday seeing a brilliant turnout, and despite the pouring rain many also joined our run round Redmires! ShUOC has also begun its weekly training schedule again, thank you to all who have turned up to those too! Yesterday saw ShUOC team up with SYO at the regional orienteering event at Rivelin Valley! Some brilliant planning from our secretary Adam, despite the unforgiving terrain, and great organisation from our captain Eleanor! Thank you too to all who volunteered today, braving the rain to help ensure things ran smoothly! Brown: 1st Joe Thomas, 13th Joe Goodwin, 14th Adrien Gallet, 15th Chloe Potter, 19th Rebecca Ward, 29th Liam Overett. Blue: 3rd Michael Finch Light Green: 2nd Abbie Walker, 10th Max Watson Up in the Lake District, other ShUOCers travelled up to the Hodgson Brothers mountain relays. Well done to Ben Sharrock, whose team came in 1st place. Cynog Williams, Alex Mason, Henry Webb, Edward Corden whose team were 4th. Eve Pannone and Ben O'Dowd whose team was 7th. Alice Gamble, whose team was 55th. Even further afield, Andrew Macdonald took part in the Loch Ness Marathon, having a smashing run and beating his sub 3h goal! Congratulations!!!
