t's been another busy week for ShUOC, with a diverse range of competitions keeping us all running!

On Wednesday, a large group competed in the local Tigers Trail race, with the evening sun creating some brilliant views! 
7th Andrew Macdonald, 14th Jonty Cope, 17th Louis James, 23rd Abbie Walker (3rd Female!), 27th Maya Hampshire Wright, 30th Anna Beever, 40th Ben Stevens, 71st Liam Overett. 

Then on Friday, Alex Mason and Jason Hayman travelled to compete in the Mid Cheshire 5km. Both achieved PBs in the incredible times of 15.04 for Alex and 15.48 for Jason!!!! 

It was a big weekend for orienteering! On Saturday the British Middle Champs were hosted at Danefield, with some excellent forest running!!!

M21 - 7th Adam Conway, 18th Dom Green, 19th Joe Thomas, 20th Adrien Gallet, 35th Matt Hall, 37th Jack Baker, mp Ben Stevens, mp Harry Scott
W20 - 5th Maya Hampshire Wright 
W21 - 2nd Chloe Potter, 8th Rebecca Ward, 15th Eleanor Ellis. 

This was swiftly followed by the very serious Maze Orienteering ShUOC Champs, where Eleanor and Adrien claimed the joint fastet time across the three courses!!!! 

And then on Sunday, the Northern Champs were hosted at Kilnsey Moor!!!

On Saturday, the Yorkshire Three Peaks Race took place!!! Harry Kneen finished in 71st place, and Alice Gamble was 281st!!!! An incredible effort from both runners in a very tough race!!!!!!

And finally Charlotte Mosley competed in the Dronfield 10km, gaining herself a new PB of 43:23!!!!!! Absolutely amazing!!!!!

A reminder that our AGM takes place this Thursday, and that our club champs & leavers meal is taking place on Saturday! Details can be for all three of these on our Facebook!!
