​This week ShUOC has been busy running and dancing! On Friday we attended a Ceilidh, and had a brilliant evening spinning, clapping, and agreeing that most of us can't dance. Thank you @ceilidhsoc for a fantastic event, everyone had a lot of fun!

The same evening, Toby Antcliff took part 
in a track event hosted at the EIS, and where he flew into 1st place during the 800m event!!! 

On Saturday, a large group travelled to Linacre Reservoirs to take part in the DVO orienteering event!

Saturday was a great day for fellrunners too!! Many members took part in the Dark Peak Fell Race club Champs, trecking across the fells. Others took part in the Baslow Bolt: 4th Harry Kneen, 5th Tim Barry, 35th Louis James. 

The racing didn't stop there! On Sunday Adam Conway travelled to the Lake District for the Tim Watkins Trophy, experiencing "180 minutes of pure unfiltered slog". 

And finally it is important to recognise the work of club members supporting the growth of juniors in our sport. Well done to Maya who travelled to Hawkshead to help out at the M/W16 junior training!
