What is the Inov8 Urban Fell Race?
It's a fun, fast-paced urban fell race, where you get to explore the hilly streets of Sheffield. The course itself is unmarked and competitors must navigate around the course themselves using a map, visiting a number of 'checkpoints' along the way.
These checkpoints are marked on the ground using orienteering kites and each has an SI Timing Box on it, where you use your SI timing device to register that you have been to the control.
It is a mass start - but following the person in front of you doesn't always mean you are going the right way or the fastest way!
