CIRCUITS

Every Monday at 17:00 there will be a circuits session held in Activity Room 2 at Goodwin Sports Centre. Circuits consists of periods of effort, working the core muscles, followed by a short period of rest. We have a qualified personal coach on our team who will help run these sessions and put us through our paces!

DRILLS

Drills focus on running form and technique. In these sessions, we’ll be working on on running form and leg exercises. We integrate this session into Intervals on a Tuesday. Meet at the cafe in Endcliffe Park at 18:30.

HILLS

This session consists of periods of hard work up a steep gradient, followed by a period of recovery running down. Hills are great for aerobic endurance and leg strength. On a Thursday we usually meet at Broomhill Costa at 18:30 and try to run to a different location each week.

INTERVALS

Much like our Hills session, Interval training is made up of a short period of fast running, followed by a period of recovery. Intervals are a great way to improve aerobic endurance and increase overall speed. This session is normally run after Drills on a Tuesday at 18:30. Meet at Endcliffe Park Cafe.

SOCIAL RUNS

Social Runs are a great way of bonding as a team. We aim to have a medium and a long option on these to allow for all abilities. The pace of these runs is usually fairly steady to allow for chatter.
