Throughout the week ShUOC organise various training sessions for our members and guests.

Monday: Drills - 5.00 – 5:45 pm
Drills will take place in Weston Park (the entrance by the museum). This session focuses on running form and technique. We’ll be doing some dynamic exercises to improve balance and core strength to make us all great runners.
Tuesday: Intervals 6.30 – 7:15 pm
Meet at Endcliffe Park cafe for 6.30 pm. This session is designed to improve pace over longer distances, and involves running at a high intensity for a short periods of time, with rests between each set. This training is adaptable for all abilities and you are open to do as little or as much as you want, so don't be put off by the numbers. Alice will post the session on Facebook for those who are interested/ cannot make it.
Wednesday: Technical Orienteering training / Group Run

Thursday: Hills Session 6:00 pm
Meet at Broomhill Costa for a mystery hills session. One of the committee will be there to take you off to the training location for the evening!
Friday: Circuits – 4:00 – 5:00 pm
This is held in Activity Room 2 of Sports Sheffield’s Goodwin Sports Centre. This is a general strength session suitable for all abilities. DJ Tenty will be blaring out the epic playlist to get us into a good mood for the weekend!
This session involves peforming a number of exercises at different stations - great for general fitness and strength. This session is FREE to ShUOC members and £1 for non-members.
