It's also worth pointing out that we were by far the best dressed University thanks to our swanky new white lycra so thanks to Adam Potter for managing to get the kit in time! (we also looked rather fabulous and had - again - the best costumes for the social on the Saturday night)

Exotic Weekend

24/7/2015

Last weekend saw many of our members return to Sheffield for a weekend of fun and games. We were split into two teams with 'Jazzy Jeff's Exotic Weekenders' being by far superior (i'm not biased at all) and took part in a series of challenges including a fell race/orienteering course on Blackamoor, 'social' challenges at the Captain's house and some good old fashioned sports day events near Burbage. Fun was had by all (we hope) and are looking forward to being reunited again at the Scottish and Aviemore in September. (photos in the gallery)

The Trunce 6

14/7/2015

Nic Barber managed a sizeable PB to come in 1st despite racing at the weekend. Anna Hoogkamer was 39th (2nd lady) with a PB of over 1min (someone wasn't trying hard enough last time) and Hannah Bradley battled through illness to come in 114 (11th lady) so well done to them!

English Champs

14/7/2015

Well done to Nic Barber (19th) and Jack Wright (22nd) who went off to Bradda Niarbyl for the most recent English Champs Race and had to contend with a bizarre start right on the side of a steep accent!

Hathersage Fell Race

6/7/2015

Well done to Jack Wright (2nd) and Millar (7th) at the Hathersage Fell Race

Hope Fell Race

1/7/2015

A few of our members braved the sweltering heat to run up and down Win Hill at the Hope Fell Race. Most of us were sweating profusely before we even started so you can only imagine what we looked like after...
1st Jonny Crickmore
6th Tom Saville
12th Nic Barber
49th (4th woman) Anna Hoogkamer
80th Mike Beasant
Well done to everyone :)

Tideswell Fell Race

Jack Millar 4th
Mike Beasant 13th
Anna Hoogkamer 33rd (3rd woman)
Here's a photo of everyone looking fabulous and sweaty...
